DUTCH CHARITY FUND LTD
The Dutch Charity Fund was founded in 1980. Its initial aim was to help the endless stream of Vietnamese boat people. As these refugees have now left, we extended our care to the elderly and very young, the socially deprived and the handicapped.
In 2000/2001 the Dutch Charity Fund was able to support the following institutions:
- Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service
- Po Yin Association
- Direction Association for the Handicapped
- Christian Action: Domestic Helpers and Migrant Workers Appeal
Fundraising is vital to the activities of the Dutch Charity Fund. We are sponsored by companies and individuals, e.g. the Dutch community in Hong Kong. The sales of the Christmas Greeting cards is on of the main sources of fundraising for us: by ordering the fund's cards YOU can help us to help them.
